Hong Kong, 4 November 2019 - In its “Asia Insights” quarterly update, GP Bullhound summarises the key themes occurring in the Asian technology ecosystem and explores the flow of capital from Asia into Europe and the US, by analysing M&A and fundraising activity.

Elsa Hu, Executive Director at GP Bullhound, commented: “We continue to see strong interest from Asian investors into European and US technology sectors in Q3 2019, despite the uncertain global outlook.

While US targets received more funding from Asia, European targets attracted more Asian buyers. This is a first since Q1 2018. Fintech, software, and gaming were among the top destinations of those Asian investments”
